Privacy Policy
We don't collect your data. That's not a promise — it's the architecture.
Kaspa Wallet is a fully non-custodial, open-source application. We operate no servers, collect no personal information, and have no technical ability to access your funds or keys — ever.
1. No Data Collection
Kaspa Wallet does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data. This includes:
- Your name, email address, or any account credentials
- Your IP address or device identifiers
- Your wallet addresses, balances, or transaction history
- Your private keys or seed phrases
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Crash reports or diagnostic telemetry
No registration is required. No account is created. There is nothing to collect.
2. Your Keys Stay on Your Device
All cryptographic key material — including your private keys and 12/24-word recovery phrase — is generated entirely on your local device using your operating system's secure random number generator. Keys are stored only in an AES-256 encrypted wallet file on your device.
Kaspa Wallet has no server infrastructure that could receive, store, or process your keys. This is not a policy choice — it is technically impossible for us to access your keys.
3. Network Communication
Kaspa Wallet connects directly to the Kaspa peer-to-peer network to broadcast transactions and query balances. This communication is:
- Direct to Kaspa network nodes — not routed through our servers
- Limited to what's necessary for wallet functionality
- Not logged or monitored by us in any way
Your IP address may be visible to the Kaspa nodes you connect to, as with any peer-to-peer network. We do not control or log this data.
4. This Website
This website (kaspwallet.com) is a static informational site. It does not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or any third-party data collection services.
We use standard web fonts (Google Fonts) loaded over HTTPS. Google may log the font request; consult Google's Privacy Policy for details. No other external scripts are loaded.
5. Open Source Verification
Our commitment to privacy is verifiable. The full source code of Kaspa Wallet is publicly available on GitHub. You can inspect exactly what the application does, what network connections it makes, and confirm that no data is transmitted without your knowledge.
6. Children's Privacy
Kaspa Wallet is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. Because we collect no information from anyone, this is satisfied by default.
7. Changes to This Policy
If this policy is updated, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Given the nature of our software (no data collection), material changes to privacy practices are unlikely.
