The Project

An Open-Source Wallet
for the Kaspa Community

Kaspa Wallet was built by contributors who believe that cryptocurrency tooling should be transparent, trustless, and free. Here is the story behind it.

Our Mission

Wallet Software That Respects You

Kaspa Wallet started from a simple observation: most wallet software asks you to trust the company behind it. You trust that they won't log your keys, that their servers won't be hacked, that they won't go out of business and take your access with them.

We think that is the wrong model for money. Kaspa Wallet is built on the principle that you should never have to trust us — or anyone else — with your funds. The software is open source so you can verify it yourself. The keys are generated on your device and never leave. There are no servers that could be compromised.

Our mission is to give every Kaspa user a wallet that is as secure, transparent, and self-sovereign as the network itself. Free forever. Open forever. Community-owned forever.

Open Source

Every line of code is public. Anyone can inspect, audit, fork, or contribute. No hidden logic, ever.

Non-Custodial

Keys are yours and only yours. We have no access to your funds and no ability to freeze or confiscate.

Community-Driven

Built by the Kaspa community, for the Kaspa community. Contributions, bug reports, and ideas are always welcome.

Privacy by Default

No accounts, no tracking, no analytics. The only data that exists about your wallet is what you choose to share.

The Network

Built for Kaspa's BlockDAG

Kaspa is one of the most technically innovative proof-of-work networks in existence.

Unlike Bitcoin's single-chain design, Kaspa uses a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) of blocks — called GHOSTDAG — that allows many blocks to be produced and confirmed in parallel. The result is a network that runs at 10 blocks per second while maintaining PoW security.

Kaspa Wallet is designed specifically for this architecture. It handles the high transaction velocity, displays real-time balance updates, and connects directly to Kaspa nodes — no external APIs, no third-party indexers.

Why Kaspa is Different

Kaspa isn't another blockchain clone. It's a fundamentally different architecture — and Kaspa Wallet is built to match.

BlockDAG, not Blockchain

Traditional chains produce one block at a time and discard competing blocks as "orphans." Kaspa's GHOSTDAG protocol allows parallel block production — every block counts. The result: 10+ BPS with no wasted work.

Proof of Work, Done Right

Kaspa uses kHeavyHash — an ASIC-resistant algorithm designed to keep mining accessible. There was no pre-mine, no VC allocation, no founders' reward. Energy-honest PoW security from day one.

Built for Scale

At 10 BPS today, Kaspa is already faster than nearly every PoW network. The roadmap targets 100 BPS — a settlement layer that scales without sacrificing decentralization or security. Kaspa Wallet is ready for every step of that journey.
